Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 12 June 2026
Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. StrategyNodes is a research and education tool. It is not a broker or adviser, it does not place trades, and nothing it produces is financial advice. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes.
1. Risk of loss
Trading foreign exchange, stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other instruments — particularly on margin or with leverage — carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. You can lose some or all of your capital. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and consider seeking advice from a licensed, independent financial professional.
2. Hypothetical & backtested results
Backtests, optimisations, scores, and simulated results shown in the Service are hypothetical. They are generated by applying rules to historical data and have inherent limitations. In particular:
- They are designed with the benefit of hindsight and do not represent actual trading.
- They cannot fully account for real-world factors such as slippage, liquidity, latency, partial fills, financing costs, fees, taxes, and market impact, even when modelled.
- Historical data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
- A strategy that performed well on past data may fail on future, unseen market conditions — a problem known as overfitting.
Past performance — real or hypothetical — is not indicative of future results. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
3. No financial advice
The Service, including any strategy, indicator, score, metric, AI-generated commentary, or exported code, is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. StrategyNodes is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer in any jurisdiction.
4. Exported code & live trading
Strategy code you export (for example to TradingView Pine or MetaTrader MQL5) is provided “as is.” If you choose to deploy it for live or automated trading, you do so entirely at your own risk. Test thoroughly, understand the code, and use appropriate risk controls. Software can contain errors, and platform or broker behaviour may differ from the Service’s simulation.
5. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any strategy or trade and for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and accept full responsibility for your own decisions.
